Nisha and Sumit, our dynamic duo of cheerleaders, have been our ride-or-die supporters from day one, championing all sorts of amazing causes. They are definitely on my list of people I would go above and beyond for!So when Nisha got her sister Ritu in on the action to throw a bash for Ritu's hubby's big 5-0, we went in guns blazing!🥳We knew it had to be legendary, so we embarked on a gastronomic odyssey inspired by his foodie adventures. The menu was crafted to reflect the celebration of his life's travels, offering dishes that represent his journey from India to Texas, St. Louis, Chicago, and Florida. Æbleskiver (pronounced "EE-bleh-skewr”) are round Danish pancakes prepared in a special pan featuring half-spherical molds.The name translates to "apple slices," reflecting the traditional practice of incorporating apple slices into the batter. Although apples may not always be used today, these treats are celebrated for their soft, fluffy interior and crispy exterior, reminiscent of pancakes.Typically served in sets of three, they are dusted with powdered sugar and accompanied by jam or other fillings. Ellie and Mike Braun, two of our most adorable clients, have always been a delight to work with. A few years ago, we had the pleasure of hosting a celebration dinner for them, and recently, they reached out to us again. No matter how many times it happens, it always amazes me when we manage to pull off an event despite our hectic calendar. A beautiful reminder that I work with the most amazing people. Recently, Kalpaj Parekh wanted to celebrate his son’s graduation, and they traveled from Iowa for the occasion. They rented a charming Airbnb and contacted us to create a simple yet delightful menu.The celebration was set against a backdrop of warm summer weather, which added to the joyous atmosphere. Kalpaj's family and friends gathered in this beautiful Airbnb, their laughter and conversations filling the air with a sense of happiness and accomplishment. Sid is truly a remarkable individual who fully embraces life. And for one that holds so many accolades, one of the most down-to-earth people i have come across. As a board-certified neurologist, Dr. Kaul completed his medical studies at A.C.P.M. Medical College in India and finished his residency at Southern Illinois University in the Department of Neurology in Springfield. Especially the ones that give your heart a warm, fuzzy feeling!A couple of weekends ago, an incredible group of devoted moms gathered to embrace the spirit of Mother's Day a bit earlier than usual. To them, it was a deeply cherished and much-needed escape from their everyday tasks and responsibilities, and we were overjoyed to shower them with love and appreciation through a delightful spread.
